  5. This version introduces the direct ASPI interface. The only drives it has
  6. been thoroughly tested with are:
  7.  
  8. Apple CD300 (Sony CDU-8003A)
  9. Toshiba XM-4101
  10.  
  11. Other drives may or may not work, but judging from the amount of 'tweaking'
  12. we had to do for these two, I would expect most other drives to exhibit
  13. problems in one or more areas! They should all work to a resonable degree
  14. through the ASPI interface, via MSCDEX, or a combination of both.

  16. The Apple drive does not 'repeat play', either from the command line, or
  17. within the 'watch' facility. This is a minor problem, which will be rectified
  18. in the next release.
